Early and fairly rare rocking horse, she is in very good condition for her age and will restore beautifully. Finding original paint in reasonably good condition under her overpaint was a real treat, and so interesting to see the almost aqua colour.

A very sweet little rocking horse suitable for someone who hasn't got the space for a larger one... and doesn't necessarily need it ridden, although these littlies are lovely for very young children, who can find large horses frightening - even a No 3 Roebuck is very tall when you're two feet tall!!

Smith horses are often mistaken for Lines, there is certainly a similarity in design. We now have three of these and have been extremely pleasantly surprised at the quality of their construction - they are just so sturdy! We will try to keep one or two in stock in future...
